Faith Academy is an answer to prayer. It originated in the Presbyterian Church Faith Ministry Bible. Prayer has blossomed like a rosebud over the years and, thank God, it continues to bloom in its glory.
Faith Academy is a recognized, unattended, coeducational Christian minority school. It operates under the supervision of the Christian Pedagogical Association through the Faith Academy management committee. Being a Christian school, it seeks to promote piety, good manners, and responsible citizenship in each student. English is the medium of instruction.
The Christian Educational Association opened the doors of Faith Academy on January 8, 1964, as an elementary school. From a small beginning of 15 students and 5 teachers, the school has grown into an upper secondary school with more than 2,500 students. Mrs. Mary B. Dorsey was the first principal and Mr. John L Dorsey was the principal of The Faith Academy. Students are trained in the word of God (the Bible), and in the linguistic, social, and scientific disciplines, to be godly and responsible citizens of our great country, India.
The audiovisual room is really an asset to improving education in our school. It is equipped with the latest equipment and thus provides facilities for students and teachers to make learning fun, creative, and colorful. To enhance the confidence of the young students, various activities were carried out such as PowerPoint Shows, L.C.D. Film screening, C. Recordings are made, etc. This room serves as a platform for holding various seminars, conferences, and symposia.
Life’s milestones deserve to be celebrated. Mr. Anand Pillai, Managing Director of Leadership and Associate Professor of Strategy and Leadership at IMT Ghaziabad challenged the young graduate students with his inspiring speech. The hall was crowded with parents who had come to witness their children’s graduation at the gates of the Faith Academy.
