Amity International School is the first in a series of schools and institutions created under the auspices of its visionary founding president, Dr. Ashok K. The school was established in 1991, and it has established many standards under the dynamic leadership of its President, Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan. The school enjoys a strategic location in pleasant surroundings in South Delhi, featuring innovative landscaping and meticulous planning with attention to detail.
Admission to the kindergarten class begins in December in principle every year according to the guidelines issued by the Directorate of Education. An advertisement is published in all major newspapers and an online intake form is available.

Criteria For Scholarship
Amity believes in rewarding the diligence of deserving students as they strive for excellence in their academic endeavors. Each year, scholarships, academic badges, and special awards are awarded to students in recognition of their commitment to academic excellence.
Internation Awards Achievements 2023-2024:
1. THE SATURN PARABLE WHARTON WINNERS: Pooja Chandna (XI) won first place with four other team members in an online game called “The Saturn Parable”. The event, organized by the Wharton Global Youth Program and the Wharton Interactive Center at the University of Pennsylvania, USA, attracted 130 students from around the world. The campaign was based on the internet in 2087 and the goal was to land near the south pole of Saturn’s moon to gain exclusive rights to the mine water there.
2. INTERNATIONAL KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP: Five students from the school won a total of 9 medals (4 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze) in the 5th International Karate Championship 2019 organized by the All India Federation of Seishinkai Shitoryu Karate-Do. The winning heroes are Sehen Dey who won gold, Aria Puri who won gold and silver, Anjika Gupta who won silver and bronze, Endri Agrawal, and Triyan Pratibimb, who won gold. Gold and bronze medals each.
3. F1 IN SCHOOLS WORLD FINALS: The “Matador Team” came second in the world final of the 15th “F1 in Schools” competition, held in Abu Dhabi. The Amitians represented India for the second year in a row in the prestigious international STEM competition for school children. The team consisted of Captain Sukreti Gupta (11th) and team members Jaisal Kothari (9th), Vivan Wadwa, Aryan Goyal (11th), Switap Changakuti, and Nur Sharma (12th), who competed against 60 teams of more than 25 countries.
