The school accepts children in nursery and high school classes. (The custody age is from 3 years and from 4 years on 01.04.2020. Admission to other semesters (I – X) is based on available seats. Admission to these classes will be based on a written test. The school does not provide transportation. Parents should make their own arrangements to drop off their children and take them to school.

Brief History of the School

The Anglo Arab Model School is the newest addition to the oldest educational complex in Delhi, located just outside the Ajmari Gate. The complex is located on a site with a rich political history dating back more than 300 years. The school appeared as a new chapter in the evolution of the history of this site. To understand the context in which the typical Anglo-Arab school was established, we must go back to the era of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. Ghaziuddin Khan Feroz Jong I, a general in Aurangzeb’s army, established a school and a mosque on this site in the 1690s, and its name bears the name of the Ghaziuddin Khan School. As Aurangzeb’s reign waned, the school closed between 1790 and 1791. After his death, Ghaziuddin Khan was buried on the site and his tomb is still in existence today.
