Mount Carmel School, Delhi: Admission, Academic, Fee 2023-24

Mount Carmel School, Delhi: Admission, Academic, Fee 2023-24

We know biblically about God’s love for humanity in his sacrifice of Christ on the cross. Through this time division, we all receive divine love. And for those who respond to and love God, he faithfully provides life’s purpose and meaning. The story of Mount Carmel is a tribute to God’s faithfulness.

He created Mount Carmel, using two people who pledged to honor it … two people who did not see the price, hardship, pain, and tears. Growth has been fueled by the use of humble and dedicated men and women who make up the association’s board of directors and have influenced the lives of thousands of people over the past five decades.

Admission Procedure

The school year on Mount Carmel runs from April to March. Admission to any semester is subject to the rule that the student must have reached the age of 51/2 before entering the first semester in April.

There are two main levels of admission to the school: nursery and high school. Application forms are generally available from mid-December. (Check school dates for that year.) Students are selected in the following categories:

Nursery: a general class by lot; Brothers, Financially Worthy Candidate: EDC (for those earning less than 10,000 rupees per month), employees, alumni, and Christians by choice/lottery.

For high school: selection is made by assessing placement in the same categories as the previous ones.

Students graduate in the following semesters each year. Therefore, there is no admission in grades 1-8. Parents intending to enter any of these classes must submit an application, and subject to any vacancy in classes, a placement assessment takes place between mid-February and early March (see the school for dates. Parents are encouraged to see the result for themselves. They are awarded only two days after the results are announced to complete the admission procedures. Ninth category: Only children from recognized schools who present a certificate of passing the eighth category and a third language in the eighth semester are eligible for the admission test upon registration.

Category X: Only children who passed the ninth semester of CBSE registered for the test. If selected, they must present certificates of third language accreditation in the eighth class, the CBSE registration number, and the cumulative registration certificate for class IX from the previous school. Semester 11 – Registration opens in March and the subject is selected based on the scores obtained in the school examination and the interview conducted at the school. The second batch of interviews and selection/acceptance takes place after stating the board result, subject to seat availability. Students admitted in May / June are expected to cover the initial course one month before classes start in July.

A birth certificate or transfer certificate must be presented upon admission. In the case of an interstate transfer, the certificate must be signed by the educational authority of the concerned state. Generally, admission to all semesters ends on April 1. Subsequently, subject to seat availability, admission may be granted with a delay fee applicable until August.
