Blue Bells International School, founded in 1957. The delicate but powerful flower revealed its first petal at 129, Jorbagh, New Delhi with 5 students per roll. Under the patronage of Mrs. Mary Joha, a Hungarian woman, the school has quickly established itself as a pioneering position as a premier institution for early childhood education. Within a decade, another branch was established in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi.

Mrs. J. Sonny, founding director of Bluebells International School, took over when Mrs. Mary Joha moved to London to teach child development at Goldsmeith College, University of London. In 1977, under Mrs. Sonny’s tutelage, the cornerstone of the main school was laid at the current Kailash facility. The school is located in an area of 3 acres. The 4-story structure contains separate wings for different departments and departments. Under the charismatic leadership of Mrs. Sonny, the institution attained Senior High School status in 1978 and is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education.

Admission Nursery (preschool)

The preschool/daycare admissions process will begin on November 28, 2019. The school will upload the admissions procedures and admissions criteria along with the points for each vacancy admission criteria (other than EWS / DG), on its official website before November 28, 2019. The government has set a maximum age of fewer than four years to be eligible for kindergarten, less than five years for kindergarten, and less than six years for admission to the first category.

Student safety: our priority

1. Security measures

Student safety is a major concern both inside and outside the school and the building. Security cameras were installed at the gate and at strategic points in the school. Fire drills are conducted at regular intervals. No student may leave the school building during school hours without written permission from the relevant supervisors and signed by the class teacher.

2. The entry point passes

All parents must carry and show a parent’s ID with the name to enter; All visitors must register and obtain a visitor ID card. There are no exceptions.

3. Rules for visitors

All visitors must wait at the school gate that is managed by security guards. Once the appointment is confirmed, visitors are requested to go to the reception area, where they are escorted and escorted to the corresponding department. No one is allowed to enter without an appointment.

British Council International projects
