Mother Theodosia (director and director) who founded this valuable foundation on July 16, 1957. She and five sisters were pioneers in this foundation. First of all, the sisters resided in Barrio Diplomático 48/65. There was no furniture, lights, or fans in the school. For every need, they had to depend on friends and benefactors. In this regard, Mr. JM Souza, Director of The Times of India, provided tremendous support. While preparations were being made on land, acceptances were carried out simultaneously.

On July 16, 1957, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the first sixty children were placed under her protection. and the school was opened in the presence of his parents. The convent has acquired an international character by admitting foreign embassy children into nursery classes – Std two. In December 1957, there were 150 children in operation. In January 1985 with the start of the next academic year, the number of students had 350. The sixth criterion was added the following year in January 1959 and the lower classes were divided into two parts each.
